Neonatal FcRn Binding ELISA Kit (CAT#: CB-P217-K) Datasheet

Product Type
Kit
Description
The neonatal Fc receptor (FcRn) is the major histocompatibility complex (MHC) class I heterodimeric protein, composed of light chain β2-microglobulin (β2m) and transmembrane heavy chain (α-FcRn) Composition. Endosomal compartments of various cell types, including vascular endothelial cells and antigen presenting cells (APC). FcRn binds to the Fc region of immunoglobulin G (IgG) antibodies in the acidic pH endosome. In adults, It participates in the recovery and utilization of IgG and albumin. The recovery of FcRn is the main reason for the long half-life (several weeks) of IgG and albumin in the serum, and is also a key factor in the successful acquisition of a fetus. Therapeutic antibodies have a prolonged half-life, which helps To improve efficacy and improve dosing regimens, FcRn-IgG interaction is a key parameter for optimization and tracking throughout the entire antibody drug development process.

FcRn binding immunoassay (a, b) is a novel homogeneous (no-clean) competition assay designed to measure the interaction between human FcRn and Fc protein.
Size
1×96 wells

Figure 1 The FcRn Binding Immunoassay detects IgG-FcRn interaction. This is a representative standard curve of control antibody plotted with raw RLUs (Panel A) and as normalized data (Panel B).
