Description
For a more sensitive LDH test kit for cytotoxicity testing, we recommend using CB-P150-K. The LDH test kit (cytotoxicity) is based on the measurement of lactate dehydrogenase (LDH) activity released by damaged cells, Provides a quick and easy way to quantify cytotoxicity
The measurement requires about 0.5-1 hour. The activity of LDH can be determined by a coupled enzymatic reaction: LDH oxidizes lactic acid to pyruvate and then reacts with the tetrazolium salt INT to form formazan. The increase in the number of formazan maz produced in the culture supernatant is directly related to the increase in the number of lysed cells. Formaldehyde dye is water-soluble and can be detected at 500 nm with a spectrophotometer.
