Description
Nuclear factor-κB (NFkB) is a transcription factor that plays a central role in many physiological processes, such as inflammation, tumorigenesis and apoptosis. NFkB is activated by a variety of stimuli, including inflammatory cytokines, such as TNF-α.
Creative Biolabs' cell-based ELISA measures phosphorylated p65(S536) (pNFkB) in whole cells and normalizes the signal to total protein content. This simple and effective assay method eliminates the need for cell lysate preparation, and can be used to study the regulation of NFkB in short-term and long-term assays.
Features Simple. Without cell lysis, cells can be cultured for several days.
Applications Used for quantitative fluorescence immunoenzyme method to determine the phosphorylation status of NFkB in cultured cells.
