Description Neonatal Fc receptors are Fc receptors found in the placenta. It shows the unique function of promoting the growth of IgG from mother to fetus. This receptor also plays an important role in regulating the half-life of IgG and albumin in the bloodstream, and affects pharmacokinetic parameters through FcRn-mediated endocytosis. The FcRn kit can measure the binding between Fc-based molecules and FcRn receptors.
