Human Fc ELISA Core Kit (CAT#: CB-P222-K) Datasheet

Product Type
Kit
Description
Fc is the tail region of immunoglobulin G (IgG), which interacts with cell surface receptors called Fc receptors and certain proteins of the complement system. ~230 amino acid fragments usually exist as dimers, although Under reducing conditions, it is the basis for prolonging antibody pharmacokinetics, and is usually used as a fusion to extend the half-life of the fusion protein.

The assay uses quantitative sandwich enzyme immunoassay technology. Affinity purified polyclonal antibodies specific to human or mouse Fc have been coated on 96-well microtiter plates. Pipette the standard solution, control solution and sample into the wells, and any human or mouse Fc present will be bound by the immobilized antibody. After washing away any unbound material, an enzyme-linked polyclonal antibody specific for human or mouse Fc is added to the well. After incubating and washing to remove any unbound antibody-enzyme core, the substrate solution is added to the well. The enzyme reaction produces a blue product, which turns yellow when the stop solution is added. The measured color intensity is proportional to the amount of human or mouse Fc bound in the initial step. Then read the sample value from the standard curve.

The human Fc ELISA core kit contains the same essential components as the complete human Fc ELISA kit (CB-P221-K).
