Annexin V-Biotin Apoptosis Kit (CAT#: CB-P028-K) Datasheet

Description
The Annexin V-Biotin Apoptosis Detection Kit is based on the observation that most cell types transfer membrane phospholipid phosphatidylserine (PS) from the inner surface of the plasma membrane to the cell surface shortly after initiating apoptosis. Once on the cell surface, PS can easily bind to biotin-conjugated annexin V, which has a strong natural affinity for PS. Annexin V-Biotin can be combined with any reagent that uses streptavidin or avidin dyes (for example (streptavidin) antiviral-luciferin, -peroxidase, -alkaline phosphatase (AP)) And -Beta-gal, etc.) combined with conventional dye staining for detection.
