Description
Creative Biolabs developed and successfully established human CD32a (131H) reporter cell line. The cells have been engineered to express not only the NFAT response elements that drive the luciferase expression system, but also express the receptor full length human CD32a (131H) that can be used to assess the ADCP activity of antibodies. CD32a (131H) exhibits a higher affinity for IgG2 isotypes compared to CD32a-131R.

Protein Background
CD32a is a cell surface receptor found on phagocytic cells such as macrophages and neutrophils, and is involved in the process of phagocytosis and clearing of immune complexes. Alternative splicing results in multiple transcript variants.

The cell line has been screened using the membrane filtration testing methods to confirm the absence of aerobic, anaerobic and fungi microorganisms.
Identity Testing
Identity testing is required for newly established cell lines. Isoenzyme analysis is used to confirm the identity of the species of a cell line. Alternative methods for identity testing include DNA fingerprinting, STR analysis and karyology.
Virological Safety Testing
A broad range of viruses is susceptible to affecting human cell lines. We can provide in vivo/vitro virus saftey assays by utilizing various animal systems. These viruses include: adventitious viruses, bovine viruses, human and simian viruses, porcine viruses, retrovirus and rodent viruses.

Mycoplasma Testing
