Product Type
Kit
Description
The kit contains reagents for coupling the dye to the free reducing end of the glycan through a reductive amination reaction.
Features
Number of Samples: 96 separate analytical samples per set of labeling reagents.
Amount of Sample: From 25 pmol up to 25 nmol glycans per sample.
Suitable Samples: Any purified glycans with free reducing termini can be labeled.
Labeling Selectivity:Essentially stoichiometric labeling.
Applications
For labeling of free glycans with 2-aminobenzamide (2-AB).
Sample
Glycoproteins and glycopeptides containing N-linked glycans
Components
2-AB Dye (2-aminobenzamide) 60 mg
2PB reductant (2-picoline borane) 132 mg
30% acetic acid in DMSO 2 mL
Handling Advice
Ensure that any glass, plastic ware or solvents used are free of glycosidases and environmental carbohydrates. Use powder-free gloves for all sample handling procedures and avoid contamination with environmental carbohydrate. • Once individual vials of reagents are opened, their contents should be used immediately and excess then discarded according to local safety rules.
Storage
Store at room temperature in the dark. Protect from sources of heat, light, and moisture. The reagents are stable for at least two years as supplied.
Shelf Life
Stability: Stable at least 12 months when stored properly. Several days exposure to ambient tempertures will not reduce activity.
Research Use
For research use only. Not for human or drug use

All products and services are for Research Use Only. Do Not use in humans.
