Cooperation Seeking

Creative Biolabs is interested in collaborating with potential partners (include but not limit to major pharma or biotech firms) to further co-develop our ADCC/CDC-enhanced antibodies or immutoxins. For commercial partners interested in our therapeutic biobetter product, Creative Biolabs welcomes collaboration.
Here are two ways for your choice, and please contact us for more details.
1) Collaborate with us and co-develop the programs from discovery phase to IND enabling. Costs will be shared.
2) Become a licensed candidate of our programs.
Looking forward to cooperating with you in the near future.
Official Name
IL2RA
Full Name
Interleukin-2 receptor alpha chain
Background
Interleukin-2 receptor alpha chain (also called CD25) is a protein that in humans is encoded by the IL2RA gene.
Alternative Names
IL2RA, CD25, IDDM10, IL2R, TCGFR, p55, IMD41, interleukin 2 receptor subunit alpha
Antibody Clone
anti-Tac
Biologic Classification
Protein Based Therapies
Monoclonal antibody (mAb)
Antibody Type
Fv
Host
Humanized
Species Reactivity
Human
Antibody Description
The antibody recognizes the alpha subunit of the interleukin 2 (IL-2) receptor and blocks the interaction of the cytokine with its growth factor receptor. The scientific basis for selecting the IL-2 receptor alpha subunit as a monoclonal antibody-mediated therapeutic target for leukemia / lymphoma is that few normal cells express IL-2Rα, and in patients with multiple leukemias / lymphomas Abnormal T-cell lymphomas express this receptor. In 1997, the antibody was approved by the FDA to prevent renal transplant rejection. In addition, anti-Tac provides an effective treatment for certain patients with T-cell malignancies and a series of inflammatory autoimmune diseases. Finally, treatment with this antibody with the 90Y antibody has led to a clinical response in most adult T-cell leukemia patients. These insights about the IL-2 / IL-2 receptor system have promoted the development of effective daclizumab antibody therapy for certain leukemia / lymphoma patients.
Antibody Indication
Chronic Lymphocytic Leukemia
Toxic Moiety
Saporin
Organism
Saponaria officinalis
Family
Plant toxin
Toxic MOA
Saporin, a plant toxin derived from Saponaria officinalis, disrupts protein synthesis by inactivating the 60S portion of the ribosomal complex.

The antibody portion mediated selective binding to target cells, while the toxin portion mediated translocation into the cytosol and subsequent cell killing.

Chronic Lymphocytic Leukemia
