Description
Creative Biolabs' D-Sorbitol assay kit (colorimetric) is designed to measure sorbitol in various samples, such as food, fruit, juice, medicine, cosmetics, paper and some other biological samples. In the measurement, sorbitol is oxidized to fructose, which develops proportionally in a strong color with a maximum absorbance at 560 nm. This assay is useful in the range of 0.1-10 nmol sorbitol per sample.
