Cooperation Seeking Creative Biolabs is interested in collaborating with potential partners (include but not limit to major pharma or biotech firms) to further co-develop ADCC-enhanced XCR1 antibody. For commercial partners interested in our ADCC-enhanced therapeutic antibodies, Creative Biolabs welcomes collaboration. Here are two ways for your choice, and please contact us for more details.
1) Collaborate with us and co-develop the programs from discovery phase to IND enabling. Costs will be shared.
2) Become a licensed candidate of our programs.
Looking forward to cooperating with you in the near future.

Official Name XCR1

Full Name chemokine (C motif) receptor 1

Background The protein encoded by this gene is a chemokine receptor belonging to the G protein-coupled receptor superfamily. The family members are characterized by the presence of 7 transmembrane domains and numerous conserved amino acids. This receptor is most closely related to RBS11 and the MIP1-alpha/RANTES receptor. It transduces a signal by increasing the intracellular calcium ions level. The viral macrophage inflammatory protein-II is an antagonist of this receptor and blocks signaling. Two alternatively spliced transcript variants encoding the same protein have been found for this gene.

Alternative Names XCR1; chemokine (C motif) receptor 1; GPR5; CCXCR1; chemokine XC receptor 1; lymphotactin receptor; XC chemokine receptor 1; G protein-coupled receptor 5; G-protein coupled receptor 5; chemokine (C motif) XC receptor 1

Gene ID 2829

Cellular Localization Plasma membrane

Involvement in Disease Diseases associated with XCR1 include Leber Plus Disease.

Related Pathways Its related pathways are RET signaling and Signaling by GPCR.

Function Receptor for chemokines SCYC1 and SCYC2. Subsequently transduces a signal by increasing the intracellular calcium ions level. Receptor for XCL1/Lymphotactin.
