Cooperation Seeking

Creative Biolabs is interested in collaborating with potential partners (include but not limit to major pharma or biotech firms) to further co-develop ADCC-enhanced RTN4 antibody. For commercial partners interested in our ADCC-enhanced therapeutic antibodies, Creative Biolabs welcomes collaboration. Here are two ways for your choice, and please contact us for more details.
1) Collaborate with us and co-develop the programs from discovery phase to IND enabling. Costs will be shared.
2) Become a licensed candidate of our programs.
Looking forward to cooperating with you in the near future.
Official Name
RTN4
Full Name
Reticulon 4
Background
This gene belongs to the family of reticulon encoding genes. Reticulons are associated with the endoplasmic reticulum, and are involved in neuroendocrine secretion or in membrane trafficking in neuroendocrine cells. The product of this gene is a potent neurite outgrowth inhibitor which may also help block the regeneration of the central nervous system in higher vertebrates. Alternatively spliced transcript variants derived both from differential splicing and differential promoter usage and encoding different isoforms have been identified. [provided by RefSeq, Jul 2008]

Genecards
Involvement in Disease
Its related pathways are Neuroscience and Signaling by GPCR.
Related Pathways
Induces the formation and stability of endoplasmic reticulum (ER) tubules. They regulate the formation of endoplasmic reticulum membrane by promoting the production of endoplasmic reticulum ducts. They affect the expansion of the nuclear membrane, the formation of nuclear pore complexes and the proper positioning of proteins in the nuclear membrane. However, each isomer has a specific function, mainly depending on their tissue expression specificity (possibly).
Function
Neuroscience antibody

N-glycosylated. O-glycosylated. Contains terminal sialic acid groups on its glycan chains.
