Cooperation Seeking Creative Biolabs is interested in collaborating with potential partners (include but not limit to major pharma or biotech firms) to further co-develop ADCC-enhanced B7-H3 antibody. For commercial partners interested in our ADCC-enhanced therapeutic antibodies, Creative Biolabs welcomes collaboration. Here are two ways for your choice, and please contact us for more details.
1) Collaborate with us and co-develop the programs from discovery phase to IND enabling. Costs will be shared.
2) Become a licensed candidate of our programs.
Looking forward to cooperating with you in the near future.

Official Name CD276

Full Name CD276 molecule

Background The protein encoded by this gene belongs to the immunoglobulin superfamily, and thought to participate in the regulation of T-cell-mediated immune response. Studies show that while the transcript of this gene is ubiquitously expressed in normal tissues and solid tumors, the protein is preferentially expressed only in tumor tissues. Additionally, it was observed that the 3' UTR of this transcript contains a target site for miR29 microRNA, and there is an inverse correlation between the expression of this protein and miR29 levels, suggesting regulation of expression of this gene product by miR29. Alternatively spliced transcript variants encoding different isoforms have been found for this gene.

Alternative Names CD276; CD276 molecule; B7H3; B7-H3; B7RP-2; 4Ig-B7-H

Gene ID 80381

UniProt ID Q5ZPR3

Cellular Localization Membrane

Involvement in Disease Diseases associated with CD276 include Mycoplasma Pneumoniae Pneumonia and Brain Glioma.

Related Pathways Its related pathways are Cell adhesion molecules (CAMs) and NF-kappaB Signaling.

Function It may be involved in the regulation of T cell-mediated immune response. It may protect tumor cells by inhibiting natural killer-mediated cell lysis, and can be used as a marker for neuroblastoma cell detection. May participate in the development of acute and chronic transplant rejection and regulate the activity of lymphocytes on the mucosal surface. It also played a key role in providing a suitable immune environment for the placenta and fetus throughout the pregnancy. isoform 1 and isoform 2 seem to be redundant in their ability to regulate CD4 t cell responses. Isoform 2 has been shown to enhance the induction of cytotoxic T-cells and selectively stimulate the presence of T-cell receptor signals for interferon gamma production.
