Background
Lymphocytes proliferate and differentiate in response to various concentrations of different antigens. The ability of the B cell to respond in a specific, yet sensitive manner to the various antigens is achieved with the use of low-affinity antigen receptors. This gene encodes a cell surface molecule which assembles with the antigen receptor of B lymphocytes in order to decrease the threshold for antigen receptor-dependent stimulation.

ADCC-Enhanced Anti-Human CD19 (Tafasitamab) Antibody is derived from clone Tafasitamab, which is a Humanized monoclonal antibody with enhanced ADCC activity. Antibody-dependent cellular cytotoxicity (ADCC) is an important function of antibody. It is a part of the humoral immune response to limit and contain infection. The antibody targets the CD19, and it is intended for the research of Diffuse large B-cell lymphoma.

Similar to the parental antibody Tafasitamab, ADCC-Enhanced Anti-Human CD19 (Tafasitamab) Antibody targets to the antigen CD19, achieving ADCC-enhanced antibody by reducing fucosylation of the Fc region of parental antibody, leading to an increased binding affinity for the FcyR receptor on immune effector cells.
