Cooperation Seeking

Creative Biolabs is interested in collaborating with potential partners (include but not limit to major pharma or biotech firms) to further co-develop ADCC-enhanced Non-receptor tyrosine-protein kinase TNK1 antibody. For commercial partners interested in our ADCC-enhanced therapeutic antibodies, Creative Biolabs welcomes collaboration. Here are two ways for your choice, and please contact us for more details.
1) Collaborate with us and co-develop the programs from discovery phase to IND enabling. Costs will be shared.
2) Become a licensed candidate of our programs.
Looking forward to cooperating with you in the near future.
Official Name
TNK1
Full Name
tyrosine kinase, non-receptor, 1
Background
The protein encoded by this gene belongs to the tyrosine protein kinase family. Tyrosine protein kinases are important regulators of intracellular signal transduction pathways, mediating cellular proliferation, survival, and development. This gene is highly expressed in fetal tissues and at lower levels in few adult tissues, thus may function in signaling pathways utilized broadly during fetal development, and more selectively in adult tissues. It plays a negative regulatory role in the Ras-Raf1-MAPK pathway, and knockout mice have been shown to develop spontaneous tumors, suggesting a role as a tumor suppressor gene. Alternatively spliced transcript variants encoding different isoforms have been found for this gene.
Alternative Names
TNK1; tyrosine kinase, non-receptor, 1; non-receptor tyrosine-protein kinase TNK1; CD38 negative kinase 1

Involvement in Disease
Diseases associated with TNK1 include Frontotemporal Dementia and Alzheimer Disease.
Related Pathways
Its related pathways are Tyrosine Kinases / Adaptors and Focal Adhesion.
Function
Participate in the negative regulation of cell growth. Has anti-tumor properties. Play a negative regulatory role in the Ras-MAPK pathway. It may play a role in signaling pathways widely used during fetal development, and is more selective in adult tissues and lymphoid hematopoietic system cells. Specifically involved in phospholipid signal transduction.
Post-translational modifications
1.Autophosphorylated on tyrosine residues 2.Modification sites at PhosphoSitePlus 3.Ubiquitination at Lys141
