Cooperation Seeking

Creative Biolabs is interested in collaborating with potential partners (include but not limit to major pharma or biotech firms) to further co-develop ADCC-enhanced ILT7 antibody. For commercial partners interested in our ADCC-enhanced therapeutic antibodies, Creative Biolabs welcomes collaboration. Here are two ways for your choice, and please contact us for more details.
1) Collaborate with us and co-develop the programs from discovery phase to IND enabling. Costs will be shared.
2) Become a licensed candidate of our programs.
Looking forward to cooperating with you in the near future.
Official Name
LILRA4
Full Name
leukocyte immunoglobulin-like receptor, subfamily A (with TM domain), member 4
Background
This gene encodes an immunoglobulin-like cell surface protein that is expressed predominantly on plasmacytoid dendritic cells (PDCs) and modulates the function of these cells in the immune response. Expression of this gene is downregulated by interleukin 3 (IL3). This gene is one of a cluster of highly related genes located at chromosomal region 19q13.4.
Alternative Names
LILRA4; leukocyte immunoglobulin-like receptor, subfamily A (with TM domain), member 4; ILT7; CD85g; leukocyte immunoglobulin-like receptor subfamily A member 4; immunoglobulin-like transcript 7; CD85 antigen-like family member G; leukocyte immunoglobulin-like receptor, subfamily A (without TM domain), member 4

Involvement in Disease
Diseases associated with LILRA4 include Pitt-Hopkins Syndrome.
Related Pathways
Its related pathways are Innate Immune System and Class I MHC mediated antigen processing and presentation.
Function
The functional co-receptor limits the innate immune response to viral infection; the signal occurs through FCER1G. Down-regulating the production of IFNA1, IFNA2, IFNA4, IFNB1 and tumor necrosis factor plasma dendritic cells exposed to influenza virus or cytidine-phosphate-guanosine (CpG) dinucleotide, the indicator function as a negative regulation of TLR7 and TLR9 recognition signal cascade. By interacting with BST2 on HIV-1 infected cells, it down-regulates the production of interferon. It cascades with FCER1G activation signal, which leads to phosphorylation of Src family and Syk kinase, which triggers the mobilization of intracellular Ca(2+). Does not interfere with the differentiation of plasmacytoid dendritic cells into antigen-presenting cells.
Post-translational modifications
1.Glycosylation at Asn138, Asn239, Asn279, and Asn300 2.Modification sites at PhosphoSitePlus

Description
Anti-ILT7 antibody binds to plasmacytoid dendritic cells (pDCs), a subset of dendritic cells (DCs). pDCs is known as a major source of IFNα; overproduction of IFNα is considered to be one of the major causes of autoimmune diseases. Anti-ILT7 antibody specifically recognizes and kills pDCs to suppress the IFNα supply, which leads to the improvement of autoimmune disease symptoms.
