Cooperation Seeking

Creative Biolabs is interested in collaborating with potential partners (include but not limit to major pharma or biotech firms) to further co-develop ADCC-enhanced Endothelial lipase antibody. For commercial partners interested in our ADCC-enhanced therapeutic antibodies, Creative Biolabs welcomes collaboration. Here are two ways for your choice, and please contact us for more details.
1) Collaborate with us and co-develop the programs from discovery phase to IND enabling. Costs will be shared.
2) Become a licensed candidate of our programs.
Looking forward to cooperating with you in the near future.
Official Name
LIPG
Full Name
lipase, endothelial
Background
The protein encoded by this gene has substantial phospholipase activity and may be involved in lipoprotein metabolism and vascular biology. This protein is designated a member of the TG lipase family by its sequence and characteristic lid region which provides substrate specificity for enzymes of the TG lipase family.
Alternative Names
LIPG; lipase, endothelial; EL; EDL; PRO719; endothelial lipase; lipoprotein lipase H; endothelial cell-derived lipase
Gene ID
Cellular Localization
Extracellular region or secreted
Involvement in Disease
Diseases associated with LIPG include Lipase Deficiency, Combined and Hypobetalipoproteinemia, Familial, 2.
Related Pathways
Its related pathways are Glycerolipid metabolism and Metabolism.
Function
At the same time, the activity of phospholipase and triglyceride lipase was also exerted. As a phospholipase, it is more active than triglyceride lipase. The hydrolyzed triglycerides all have short chain fatty acid acyl group (tributyl group) and long chain fatty acid acyl group (trioxyl group), and have similar activity level to the two types of substrates. Compared with other lipoproteins, the hydrolysis efficiency of high density lipoprotein (HDL) is higher.
Field of research
Cell Biology and Cellular Response antibody; Metabolism antibody; Signaling Transduction antibody
Post-translational modifications
1.Glycosylation at Asn80, Asn136, Asn393, Asn469, and Asn491 2.Modification sites at PhosphoSitePlus
Biologic Classification
Protein Based Therapies
Monoclonal antibody (mAb)
Antibody Isotype
IgG
Antibody Clone
BioBet-1184ZP
Host
Human
Species Reactivity
Human
Description
The anti-LIPG antibody are used to bind and inhibit the enzymatic activity of LIPG, are also useful in assays for detecting or quantitating levels of LIPG. These anti-LIPG antibody may additionally be used to quantitate LIPG in a tissue sample in order to predict further susceptibility to lowered levels of HDL cholesterol and apolipoprotein AI.
