Cooperation Seeking
Creative Biolabs is interested in collaborating with potential partners (include but not limit to major pharma or biotech firms) to further co-develop ADCC-enhanced TREM-1 antibody. For commercial partners interested in our ADCC-enhanced therapeutic antibodies, Creative Biolabs welcomes collaboration. Here are two ways for your choice, and please contact us for more details.
1) Collaborate with us and co-develop the programs from discovery phase to IND enabling. Costs will be shared.
2) Become a licensed candidate of our programs.
Looking forward to cooperating with you in the near future.
Full Name
triggering receptor expressed on myeloid cells 1
Background
This gene encodes a receptor belonging to the Ig superfamily that is expressed on myeloid cells. This protein amplifies neutrophil and monocyte-mediated inflammatory responses triggered by bacterial and fungal infections by stimulating release of pro-inflammatory chemokines and cytokines, as well as increased surface expression of cell activation markers. Alternatively spliced transcript variants encoding different isoforms have been noted for this gene.
Alternative Names
TREM1; triggering receptor expressed on myeloid cells 1; CD354; TREM-1; triggering-receptor TREM1; triggering receptor expressed on monocytes 1
Cellular Localization
Plasma membrane, Extracellular region or secreted
Involvement in Disease
Diseases associated with TREM1 include Suppurative Cholangitis and Acute Cholangitis.
Related Pathways
Its related pathways are Cell surface interactions at the vascular wall and Response to elevated platelet cytosolic Ca2+.
Function
Stimulates neutrophil and monocyte-mediated inflammation. Trigger the release of pro-inflammatory chemokines and cytokines, and increase the surface expression of cell activation markers. The expander of the inflammatory response, triggered by bacterial and fungal infections, is a key mediator of septic shock.
Post-translational modifications
Glycosylated.
Biologic Classification
Protein Based Therapies
Monoclonal antibody (mAb)
Description
The antibody that are capable of specifically binding TREM-1 and preventing the activation of TREM-1, a protein expressed on monocytes, macrophages and neutrophils. Such antibody find utility in the treatment of individuals with an inflammatory disease, such as rheumatoid arthritis and inflammatory bowel disease.
Antibody Indication
Inflammatory Diseases; Rheumatoid Arthritis
