Cooperation Seeking
Creative Biolabs is interested in collaborating with potential partners (include but not limit to major pharma or biotech firms) to further co-develop ADCC-enhanced TNC A2 Domain antibody. For commercial partners interested in our ADCC-enhanced therapeutic antibodies, Creative Biolabs welcomes collaboration. Here are two ways for your choice, and please contact us for more details.
1) Collaborate with us and co-develop the programs from discovery phase to IND enabling. Costs will be shared.
2) Become a licensed candidate of our programs.
Looking forward to cooperating with you in the near future.
Official Name TNC
Full Name Tenascin C
Background Tenascin C (TN-C) is a glycoprotein that in humans is encoded by the TNC gene. It is expressed in the extracellular matrix of various tissues during development, disease or injury, and in restricted neurogenic areas of the central nervous system. Tenascin-C is the founding member of the tenascin protein family. In the embryo it is made by migrating cells like the neural crest; it is also abundant in developing tendons, bone and cartilage.
Alternative Names TNC, 150-225, DFNA56, GMEM, GP, HXB, JI, TN, TN-C, Tenascin C
Gene ID Human: 3371; Mouse: 21923
UniProt ID Human: P24821; Mouse: Q80YX1
Cellular Localization extracellular matrix
Genecards TNC
Involvement in Disease Diseases associated with TNC include Deafness, Autosomal Dominant 56 and Autosomal Dominant Non-Syndromic Sensorineural Deafness Type Dfna. Among its related pathways are Neuroscience and Integrin Pathway.
Function Extracellular matrix proteins are involved in development, synaptic plasticity, and guidance of neuron and axon migration during neuronal regeneration. The neurite outgrowth of cortical neurons that promote the growth of astrocyte monolayers. The integrin ligands alpha-8/beta-1, alpha-9/beta-1, alpha-V/beta-3 and alpha-V/beta-6. In tumors, angiogenesis is stimulated by the elongation, migration and sprouting of endothelial cells (PubMed:19884327).
