Cooperation Seeking
Creative Biolabs is interested in collaborating with potential partners (include but not limit to major pharma or biotech firms) to further co-develop ADCC-enhanced Tenascin C antibody. For commercial partners interested in our ADCC-enhanced therapeutic antibodies, Creative Biolabs welcomes collaboration. Here are two ways for your choice, and please contact us for more details.
1) Collaborate with us and co-develop the programs from discovery phase to IND enabling. Costs will be shared.
2) Become a licensed candidate of our programs.
Looking forward to cooperating with you in the near future.
Background
This gene encodes an extracellular matrix protein with a spatially and temporally restricted tissue distribution. This protein is homohexameric with disulfide-linked subunits, and contains multiple EGF-like and fibronectin type-III domains. It is implicated in guidance of migrating neurons as well as axons during development, synaptic plasticity, and neuronal regeneration.

Involvement in Disease
Diseases associated with TNC include Deafness, Autosomal Dominant 56 and Autosomal Dominant Non-Syndromic Sensorineural Deafness Type Dfna.
Related Pathways
Its related pathways are Neuroscience and Integrin Pathway.
Function
Extracellular matrix proteins guide the migration of neurons and axons, synaptic plasticity and neuron regeneration during development. Promote neurite outgrowth of cortical neurons that grow on a monolayer of astrocytes. Ligands for integrins a-8/ -1, a-9/ -1, a-v / -3 and a-v / -6. In tumors, angiogenesis is stimulated by the extension, migration and sprouting of endothelial cells.
