Cooperation Seeking

Creative Biolabs is interested in collaborating with potential partners (include but not limit to major pharma or biotech firms) to further co-develop ADCC-enhanced Protein tyrosine kinase 7 antibody. For commercial partners interested in our ADCC-enhanced therapeutic antibodies, Creative Biolabs welcomes collaboration. Here are two ways for your choice, and please contact us for more details.
1) Collaborate with us and co-develop the programs from discovery phase to IND enabling. Costs will be shared.
2) Become a licensed candidate of our programs.
Looking forward to cooperating with you in the near future.
Official Name
PTK7
Full Name
protein tyrosine kinase 7 (inactive)
Background
This gene encodes a member of the receptor protein tyrosine kinase family of proteins that transduce extracellular signals across the cell membrane. The encoded protein lacks detectable catalytic tyrosine kinase activity, is involved in the Wnt signaling pathway and plays a role in multiple cellular processes including polarity and adhesion. Alternatively spliced transcript variants encoding multiple isoforms have been observed for this gene. [provided by RefSeq, Jul 2012]
Alternative Names
PTK7; protein tyrosine kinase 7 (inactive); CCK4; CCK-4; inactive tyrosine-protein kinase 7; colon carcinoma kinase 4; PTK7 protein tyrosine kinase 7; tyrosine-protein kinase-like 7; pseudo tyrosine kinase receptor 7;

Involvement in Disease
Diseases associated with PTK7 include Panic Disorder and Agoraphobia.
Related Pathways
Its related pathways are Sweet Taste Signaling and Activation of cAMP-Dependent PKA.
Function
Inactive tyrosine kinases participate in the Wnt signaling pathway. Part of the atypical (also called Wnt/planar cell polarity signal) and typical Wnt signaling pathway. Its role in cell adhesion, cell migration, cell polarity, proliferation, actin cytoskeleton reorganization and apoptosis. It plays a role in embryogenesis, epithelial tissue organization and angiogenesis.
Post-translational modifications
1.MMP14 cleaves PTK7 between Pro-621 and Leu-622 generating an N-terminal soluble (70 kDa) fragment and a membrane C-terminal (50 kDa) fragment. Proteolysis by MMP14 regulates PTK7 function in non-canonical Wnt signaling pathway 2.Modification sites at PhosphoSitePlus 3.Glycosylation at Asn116, Asn175, Asn184, Asn214, Asn268, Asn283, Asn405, Asn567, Asn463, and Asn646
