Cooperation Seeking Creative Biolabs is interested in collaborating with potential partners (include but not limit to major pharma or biotech firms) to further co-develop ADCC-enhanced Nogo receptor-1 antibody. For commercial partners interested in our ADCC-enhanced therapeutic antibodies, Creative Biolabs welcomes collaboration. Here are two ways for your choice, and please contact us for more details.
1) Collaborate with us and co-develop the programs from discovery phase to IND enabling. Costs will be shared.
2) Become a licensed candidate of our programs.
Looking forward to cooperating with you in the near future.

Official Name NgR1

Full Name Nogo receptor-1

Background NgR1 is glycosyl phosphatidylinositol (GPI)-linked to the plasma membrane, signal transduction requires the formation of a tripartite receptor complex that includes neurotrophin receptor p75 (NGF R) and the leucine-rich repeat and Ig domain containing Nogo receptor-interacting protein-1 (LINGO-1).

Alternative Names NgR1; Nogo receptor-1

Cellular Localization Plasma membrane

Involvement in Disease Diseases associated with RTN4R include Schizophrenia and Leukemia, Acute Lymphoblastic.

Related Pathways Its related pathways are Guidance Cues and Growth Cone Motility and p75(NTR)-mediated signaling.

Function RTN4, OMG, and MAG receptors. As receptors of salivary gangliosides GT1b and GM1.It can also act as a receptor for chondroitin sulfate proteoglycans (similar).Heparin can also be bound (through similarity). The intracellular signaling cascade is triggered by the synergistic receptor NGFR.Signal transduction mediates Rho activation and actin cytoskeletal recombination downstream.Mediates axonal growth inhibition. It plays a role in regulating axon regeneration and neuronal plasticity in the adult central nervous system.Plays a role in brain development after birth. This is necessary for the normal migration of axons across the midline of the brain and for the normal formation of the corpus callosum. To protect motor neurons against apoptosis;Inhibition of apoptosis may be mediated through interaction with MAG.Together with RTN4 and LINGO1, it regulates neuronal precursor cell movement during cortical development.Like other family members, it plays a role in limiting the number of dendritic spines and synapses that form during brain development.
