Cooperation Seeking

Creative Biolabs is interested in collaborating with potential partners (include but not limit to major pharma or biotech firms) to further co-develop ADCC-enhanced MRP3 antibody. For commercial partners interested in our ADCC-enhanced therapeutic antibodies, Creative Biolabs welcomes collaboration. Here are two ways for your choice, and please contact us for more details.
1) Collaborate with us and co-develop the programs from discovery phase to IND enabling. Costs will be shared.
2) Become a licensed candidate of our programs.
Looking forward to cooperating with you in the near future.
Official Name
MRP3
Full Name
Multidrug resistance protein 3
Background
The protein encoded by this gene is a member of the ATP binding cassette (ABC) transporter superfamily. ABC proteins transport various molecules across extracellular and intracellular membranes. The ABC gene is divided into seven different subfamilies (ABC1, MDR / TAP, MRP, ALD, OABP, GCN20, white). This protein is a member of the MRP subfamily and is involved in multiple drug resistance. The specific function of this protein has not been determined. However, this protein may play a role in the transport of organic anions in bile and intestinal excreta. Alternate splice variants encoding different protein isoforms have been described.

ABCC3 is induced as a hepatoprotective response to various pathological liver conditions. Constitutive androstane receptors, pregnane X receptors and nuclear factor (carotene-derived 2) -like 2 (Nrf2) transcription factors are involved in mediating induction. The functional antioxidant response element in intron 8 of the human ABCC3 gene appears to be responsible for Nrf2-mediated oxidative stress response.

Related Pathways
Its related pathways are Photodynamic therapy-induced NFE2L2 (NRF2) survival signaling and Lamotrigine Pathway, Pharmacokinetics and Pharmacodynamics.
Function
May act as an inducible transporter in the biliary and intestinal excretion of organic anions. Acts as an alternative route for the export of bile acids and glucuronides from cholestatic hepatocytes (By similarity).
