Cooperation Seeking

Creative Biolabs is interested in collaborating with potential partners (include but not limit to major pharma or biotech firms) to further co-develop ADCC-enhanced Lymphotoxin beta receptor antibody. For commercial partners interested in our ADCC-enhanced therapeutic antibodies, Creative Biolabs welcomes collaboration. Here are two ways for your choice, and please contact us for more details.
1) Collaborate with us and co-develop the programs from discovery phase to IND enabling. Costs will be shared.
2) Become a licensed candidate of our programs.
Looking forward to cooperating with you in the near future.
Official Name
LTBR
Full Name
lymphotoxin beta receptor (TNFR superfamily, member 3)
Background
This gene encodes a member of the tumor necrosis factor receptor superfamily. The major ligands of this receptor include lymphotoxin alpha/beta and tumor necrosis factor ligand superfamily member 14. The encoded protein plays a role in signalling during the development of lymphoid and other organs, lipid metabolism, immune response, and programmed cell death. Activity of this receptor has also been linked to carcinogenesis. Alternatively spliced transcript variants encoding multiple isoforms have been observed.
Alternative Names
LTBR; lymphotoxin beta receptor (TNFR superfamily, member 3); CD18; TNFCR; TNFR3; D12S370; TNFR-RP; TNFRSF3; TNFR2-RP; LT-BETA-R; TNF-R-III; tumor necrosis factor receptor superfamily member 3; lymphotoxin B receptor; tumor necrosis factor C receptor; tumor necrosis factor receptor type III; tumor necrosis factor receptor 2-related protein

Involvement in Disease
Diseases associated with LTBR include Bronchiectasis With Or Without Elevated Sweat Chloride 2 and Cone-Rod Dystrophy 2.
Related Pathways
Its related pathways are NF-KappaB Family Pathway and LT-BetaR Pathway.
Function
Receptor for the heterotrimeric lymphotoxin containing LTA and LTB, and for TNFS14/LIGHT. Promotes apoptosis via TRAF3 and TRAF5. May play a role in the development of lymphoid organs.
Post-translational modifications
1.Glycosylation at Asn40 and Asn177 2.Modification sites at PhosphoSitePlus

Description
The Phase II trial of baminercept (BG9924, LTβR-Ig) in rheumatoid arthritis (RA) patients who have had an inadequate response to conventional therapy with a disease-modifying antirheumatic drug (DMARD) did not meet its primary endpoint. LTβR-Ig consists of the human LTβR extracellular domain fused to the human IgG1 Fc domain. It binds to LT α1/β2 and LIGHT ligands on activated lymphocytes and natural killer cells, blocking interactions with their receptors on peripheral antigen-presenting and stromal cells.
