Cooperation Seeking
Creative Biolabs is interested in collaborating with potential partners (include but not limit to major pharma or biotech firms) to further co-develop ADCC-enhanced Interleukin 36R antibody. For commercial partners interested in our ADCC-enhanced therapeutic antibodies, Creative Biolabs welcomes collaboration. Here are two ways for your choice, and please contact us for more details.
1) Collaborate with us and co-develop the programs from discovery phase to IND enabling. Costs will be shared.
2) Become a licensed candidate of our programs.
Looking forward to cooperating with you in the near future.
Full Name
interleukin 36 receptor antagonist
Background
The protein encoded by this gene is a member of the interleukin 1 cytokine family. This cytokine was shown to specifically inhibit the activation of NF-kappaB induced by interleukin 1 family, member 6 (IL1F6). This gene and eight other interleukin 1 family genes form a cytokine gene cluster on chromosome 2. Two alternatively spliced transcript variants encoding the same protein have been reported.
Alternative Names
IL36RN; interleukin 36 receptor antagonist; FIL1; FIL1D; IL1F5; IL1L1; PSORP; IL1HY1; IL1RP3; IL36RA; IL-36Ra; PSORS14; FIL1(DELTA); interleukin-36 receptor antagonist protein; IL-1ra homolog 1; interleukin-1 HY1; IL-1 related protein 3; interleukin-1-like protein 1; IL1F5 (Canonical product IL-1F5a); interleukin 1 family, member 5 (delta); interleukin-1 receptor antagonist homolog 1; IL-1F5 (IL-1HY1, FIL1-delta, IL-1RP3, IL-1L1, IL-1-delta)
Cellular Localization
Extracellular region or secreted
Involvement in Disease
Diseases associated with IL36RN include Psoriasis 14, Pustular and Pustulosis Palmaris Et Plantaris.
Related Pathways
Its related pathways are PEDF Induced Signaling and IL1 Signaling Pathway.
Function
By binding to the receptor IL1RL2, it inhibits the activity of interleukin-36 (IL36A, IL36B and IL36G) and prevents it from signal transduction with the co-receptor IL1RAP. Part of the IL-36 signaling system is believed to exist in the epithelial barrier and participate in local inflammation; similar to the IL-1 system, it shares a co-receptor with the IL-1 system. It is believed to play a role in skin inflammation. It may be involved in the innate immune response to fungal pathogens, such as fumigated Aspergillus. The anti-inflammatory signaling pathway may be activated by recruiting SIGIRR.
