Cooperation Seeking
Creative Biolabs is interested in collaborating with potential partners (include but not limit to major pharma or biotech firms) to further co-develop ADCC-enhanced Interferon-lambda antibody. For commercial partners interested in our ADCC-enhanced therapeutic antibodies, Creative Biolabs welcomes collaboration. Here are two ways for your choice, and please contact us for more details.
1) Collaborate with us and co-develop the programs from discovery phase to IND enabling. Costs will be shared.
2) Become a licensed candidate of our programs.
Looking forward to cooperating with you in the near future.
Official Name IFNL1
Full Name interferon, lambda 1
Background This gene encodes a cytokine distantly related to type I interferons and the IL-10 family. This gene, interleukin 28A (IL28A), and interleukin 28B (IL28B) are three closely related cytokine genes that form a cytokine gene cluster on a chromosomal region mapped to 19q13. Expression of the cytokines encoded by the three genes can be induced by viral infection. All three cytokines have been shown to interact with a heterodimeric class II cytokine receptor that consists of interleukin 10 receptor, beta (IL10RB) and interleukin 28 receptor, alpha (IL28RA).
Alternative Names IFNL1; interferon, lambda 1; IL29; IL-29; interferon lambda-1; IFN-lambda-1; interleukin-29; cytokine Zcyto21; interferon-lambda-1; interleukin 29 (interferon, lambda 1)
Gene ID 282618
UniProt ID Q9UK05
Cellular Localization Extracellular region or secreted
Involvement in Disease Diseases associated with IFNL1 include Psoriasis 12 and Viral Infectious Disease.
Related Pathways Its related pathways are all-trans-Retinoic Acid Mediated Apoptosis and JAK-STAT signaling pathway.
Function Cytokines with antiviral, antitumor and immunomodulatory activities. It plays a key role in antiviral host defense, mainly in epithelial tissues. As a ligand of the heterodimeric class II cytokine receptor composed of IL10RB and IFNLR1, the participation of the receptor leads to the activation of the JAK/STAT signaling pathway, leading to the expression of ifn stimulating gene (ISG), and mediating antiviral status. Receptor distribution is limited, and the target is limited: mainly active in epithelial cells, this cell type selection effect is because epithelial cells specifically express its receptor IFNLR1. By up-regulating the expression of MHC class I antigens, it exerts immune regulation.
Post-translational modifications 1.Glycosylation at Asn65 2.Modification sites at PhosphoSitePlus
