Cooperation Seeking

Creative Biolabs is interested in collaborating with potential partners (include but not limit to major pharma or biotech firms) to further co-develop ADCC-enhanced IL2RA antibody. For commercial partners interested in our ADCC-enhanced therapeutic antibodies, Creative Biolabs welcomes collaboration. Here are two ways for your choice, and please contact us for more details.
1) Collaborate with us and co-develop the programs from discovery phase to IND enabling. Costs will be shared.
2) Become a licensed candidate of our programs.
Looking forward to cooperating with you in the near future.
Official Name
IL2RA
Full Name
interleukin 2 receptor, alpha
Background
The interleukin 2 (IL2) receptor alpha (IL2RA) and beta (IL2RB) chains, together with the common gamma chain (IL2RG), constitute the high-affinity IL2 receptor. Homodimeric alpha chains (IL2RA) result in low-affinity receptor, while homodimeric beta (IL2RB) chains produce a medium-affinity receptor. Normally an integral-membrane protein, soluble IL2RA has been isolated and determined to result from extracellular proteolyisis. Alternately-spliced IL2RA mRNAs have been isolated, but the significance of each is presently unknown. Mutations in this gene are associated with interleukin 2 receptor alpha deficiency.
Alternative Names
IL2RA; interleukin 2 receptor, alpha; p55; CD25; IL2R; TCGFR; IDDM10; interleukin-2 receptor subunit alpha; TAC antigen; IL-2R subunit alpha; IL-2 receptor subunit alpha

Involvement in Disease
Diseases associated with IL2RA include Immunodeficiency 41 With Lymphoproliferation And Autoimmunity and Diabetes Mellitus, Insulin-Dependent, 10.
Related Pathways
Its related pathways are RET signaling and Signaling by GPCR.
Function
Interleukin 2 receptor. This receptor participates in the regulation of immune tolerance by controlling the activity of regulatory T cells (TREGs). treg inhibits the activation and expansion of autoreactive t cells.

Description
HuMax-TAC specifically targets the TAC antigen and strongly inhibits IL-2 binding to the IL-2R and antigen-induced T cell proliferation. It is used for the treatment of acute renal transplant rejection and has been in development for the treatment of T cell leukemia, multiple sclerosis, graft-versus-host disease, ulcerative colitis, uveitis and asthma.
