Cooperation Seeking

Creative Biolabs is interested in collaborating with potential partners (include but not limit to major pharma or biotech firms) to further co-develop ADCC-enhanced IL1RAP antibody. For commercial partners interested in our ADCC-enhanced therapeutic antibodies, Creative Biolabs welcomes collaboration. Here are two ways for your choice, and please contact us for more details.
1) Collaborate with us and co-develop the programs from discovery phase to IND enabling. Costs will be shared.
2) Become a licensed candidate of our programs.
Looking forward to cooperating with you in the near future.
Official Name
IL1RAP
Full Name
interleukin 1 receptor accessory protein
Background
Interleukin 1 induces synthesis of acute phase and proinflammatory proteins during infection, tissue damage, or stress, by forming a complex at the cell membrane with an interleukin 1 receptor and an accessory protein. This gene encodes the interleukin 1 receptor accessory protein. The protein is a necessary part of the interleukin 1 receptor complex which initiates signalling events that result in the activation of interleukin 1-responsive genes. Alternative splicing of this gene results in two transcript variants encoding two different isoforms, one membrane-bound and one soluble. The ratio of soluble to membrane-bound forms increases during acute-phase induction or stress.
Alternative Names
IL1RAP; interleukin 1 receptor accessory protein; IL1R3; C3orf13; IL-1RAcP; interleukin-1 receptor accessory protein; IL-1R3; interleukin-1 receptor 3; IL-1 receptor accessory protein; interleukin-1 receptor accessory protein beta

Cellular Localization
Plasma membrane, Extracellular region or secreted
Involvement in Disease
Diseases associated with IL1RAP include Marginal Corneal Ulcer and Indolent Myeloma.
Related Pathways
Its related pathways are Bacterial infections in CF airways and IL-1 signaling pathway.
Function
Co-receptor of IL1RL2 in the IL-36 signaling system (similarity). Co-receptor with IL1R1 in IL-1 signaling system. Binding to IL1R1 to IL1B forms a high-affinity interleukin-1 receptor complex, which mediates interleukin-1-dependent nf-kpa-b activation and other pathways. Signaling involves the recruitment of adaptor molecules, such as TOLLIP, MYD88, and IRAK1 or IRAK2, through the respective TIR domains of the receptor/co-receptor subunits. Recruit to the signal complex. Can not bind to interleukin-1 alone; IL1RN binds to IL1R1, preventing it from binding to IL1R1 to form a signal complex. The cellular response is regulated by non-signal contact with the membrane IL1R2 decoy receptor. Co-receptor of IL1RL1 in IL-33 signaling system. The presynaptic and postsynaptic differentiation of neurons can be induced bidirectionally by combining PTPRD across synapses (similarity). It may be involved in the co-stimulation of il1b-mediated T-helper 1 (Th1) cells to produce IFNG (possibly).
Post-translational modifications
1.Glycosylation at Asn57, Asn107, Asn111, Asn118, Asn196, Asn209, and Asn299 2.Modification sites at PhosphoSitePlus
