Cooperation Seeking Creative Biolabs is interested in collaborating with potential partners (include but not limit to major pharma or biotech firms) to further co-develop ADCC-enhanced IL17F antibody. For commercial partners interested in our ADCC-enhanced therapeutic antibodies, Creative Biolabs welcomes collaboration. Here are two ways for your choice, and please contact us for more details.
1) Collaborate with us and co-develop the programs from discovery phase to IND enabling. Costs will be shared.
2) Become a licensed candidate of our programs.
Looking forward to cooperating with you in the near future.

Official Name IL17F

Full Name interleukin 17F

Background The protein encoded by this gene is a cytokine that shares sequence similarity with IL17. This cytokine is expressed by activated T cells, and has been shown to stimulate the production of several other cytokines, including IL6, IL8, and CSF2/GM_CSF. This cytokine is also found to inhibit the angiogenesis of endothelial cells and induce endothelial cells to produce IL2, TGFB1/TGFB, and monocyte chemoattractant protein-1.

Alternative Names IL17F; interleukin 17F; ML1; ML-1; CANDF6; IL-17F; interleukin-17F; cytokine ML-1

Gene ID 112744

Cellular Localization Extracellular region or secreted

Involvement in Disease Diseases associated with IL17F include Candidiasis, Familial, 6 and Chronic Mucocutaneous Candidiasis.

Related Pathways Its related pathways are Immune response IL-23 signaling pathway and IL-17 Family Signaling Pathways.

Function IL17RA and IL17RC ligands. The heterodimer formed by IL17A and IL17F is the ligand of the heterodimer formed by IL17RA and IL17RC. Participate in stimulating the production of other cytokines, such as IL6, IL8 and CSF2, and regulate cartilage matrix circulation. It is also involved in stimulating the proliferation of peripheral blood mononuclear cells and T cells and inhibiting angiogenesis. It plays a role in the induction of pulmonary neutrophils and the aggravation of antigen-induced pulmonary allergic inflammation (similar).

Post-translational modifications 1.Glycosylation at Asn83 2.Modification sites at PhosphoSitePlus
