Cooperation Seeking
Creative Biolabs is interested in collaborating with potential partners (include but not limit to major pharma or biotech firms) to further co-develop ADCC-enhanced ICOS antibody. For commercial partners interested in our ADCC-enhanced therapeutic antibodies, Creative Biolabs welcomes collaboration. Here are two ways for your choice, and please contact us for more details.
1) Collaborate with us and co-develop the programs from discovery phase to IND enabling. Costs will be shared.
2) Become a licensed candidate of our programs.
Looking forward to cooperating with you in the near future.
Official Name ICOS
Full Name inducible T-cell co-stimulator
Background The protein encoded by this gene belongs to the CD28 and CTLA-4 cell-surface receptor family. It forms homodimers and plays an important role in cell-cell signaling, immune responses, and regulation of cell proliferation.
Alternative Names ICOS; inducible T-cell co-stimulator; AILIM; CD278; CVID1; inducible T-cell costimulator; inducible costimulator; activation-inducible lymphocyte immunomediatory molecule
Gene ID 29851
UniProt ID Q9UK05
Cellular Localization Plasma membrane, Extracellular region or secreted
Involvement in Disease Diseases associated with ICOS include Immunodeficiency, Common Variable, 1 and Common Variable Immunodeficiency.
Related Pathways Its related pathways are RET signaling and Signaling by GPCR.
Function It enhances all the basic responses of t cells to foreign antigens, namely proliferation, secretion of lymphokines, up-regulation of intercellular interaction molecules, and effectively helps b cells to secrete antibodies. It is essential for the effective interaction between T cells and b cells and the normal antibody response to T cell dependent antigens. Does not up-regulate the production of interleukin-2, but super induces the synthesis of interleukin-10. Prevent the apoptosis of pre-activated t cells. It plays a key role in cd40-mediated isotype switching (through similarity) of immunoglobulins.
Post-translational modifications N-glycosylated.
Biologic Classification
Protein Based Therapies
Monoclonal antibody (mAb)
Antibody Isotype IgG
Antibody Clone 88-2
Description The antibody directed against ICOS can induce IL-10 and IFNγ production, induce CD4+ T cells proliferation, reduce Tconv proliferation, and increase the immunosuppressive function of Treg.
