Anti-Human Complement component 9 (C9) Monoclonal Antibody (clone X197), FITC, -0.5 mg (CAT#: CB-P353-AB) Datasheet

Product Type
Antibody
Description
Human C9 is a 61 kD soluble glycoprotein. It is the last component in the assembly of the membrane attack complex (MAC). When complement is activated on the target membrane, multiple copies of C9 bind to the C5b-8 complex and assemble into barrel-shaped pores, causing cell lysis. The conformation of C9 changes from spherical to tubular. The combination of C9 and C5b-8 plays a key role in the function of C9.
