Product Type Antibody
Description CD11b is an alpha chain integrin, expressed as a heterodimer that binds non-covalently to CD18. CD11b is also called CR3, Mac-1, Mo-1 in the alphaM subunit of integrin, with a molecular weight of 165-170 kDa. This protein mediates the adhesion of PMN and monocytes to the endothelium, and then PMN extravasates to the site of inflammation. CD11b/CD18 interacts with matrix and cell surface proteins, including complement component iC3b, extracellular matrix protein and the third extracellular domain of CD54. CD11b is expressed on human NK cells, monocytes, granulocytes, T cells, B cells and dendritic cells. After activation, expression is upregulated. Bear-1 reacts with the CD11bα chain of the CD11b/CD18 (p165, 95) integrin heterodimer complex.
