Cooperation Seeking Creative Biolabs is interested in collaborating with potential partners (include but not limit to major pharma or biotech firms) to further co-develop ADCC-enhanced HIG-1 antibody. For commercial partners interested in our ADCC-enhanced therapeutic antibodies, Creative Biolabs welcomes collaboration. Here are two ways for your choice, and please contact us for more details.
1) Collaborate with us and co-develop the programs from discovery phase to IND enabling. Costs will be shared.
2) Become a licensed candidate of our programs.
Looking forward to cooperating with you in the near future.

Official Name HIGD1A

Full Name HIG1 hypoxia inducible domain family, member 1A

Alternative Names HIGD1A; HIG1 hypoxia inducible domain family, member 1A; HIG1; RCF1a; HIG1 domain family member 1A, mitochondrial; RCF1 homolog A; hypoxia inducible gene 1; HIG1 domain family, member 1A; hypoxia-inducible gene 1 protein

Gene ID 25994

UniProt ID Q9UK05

Cellular Localization Mitochondrion

Involvement in Disease Diseases associated with HIGD1A include Hypoxia and Behr Syndrome.

Related Pathways Its related pathways are Regulation of activated PAK-2p34 by proteasome mediated degradation and Cellular Senescence (REACTOME).

Function The proposed cytochrome c oxidase subunit (COX, complex IV) is the terminal component of the mitochondrial respiratory chain that catalyzes the reduction of oxygen to water. May play a role in the assembly of respiratory supercomplexes.

Post-translational modifications 1.Ubiquitination at Lys19 2.Modification sites at PhosphoSitePlus

Biologic Classification Protein Based Therapies
Monoclonal antibody (mAb)

Antibody Isotype IgG

Antibody Clone ISK-MMH-TK1

Description This is a monoclonal antibody against a human HIG-1 polypeptide, the antibody binding to at least one epitope included in the amino acid sequence at positions 1-19 of a human HIG-1 polypeptide; Hypoxia-induced gene 1 (HIG-1) was reported as one of the genes induced under hypoxic conditions. HIG-1 is induced also by a decrease in glucose concentration. HIG-1 is considered to be localized in an inner membrane of mitochondria and to have a function of inhibiting hypoxia-induced cell death; however, the details thereof have yet to be revealed.
