Cooperation Seeking
Creative Biolabs is interested in collaborating with potential partners (include but not limit to major pharma or biotech firms) to further co-develop ADCC-enhanced CXCL13 antibody. For commercial partners interested in our ADCC-enhanced therapeutic antibodies, Creative Biolabs welcomes collaboration. Here are two ways for your choice, and please contact us for more details.
1) Collaborate with us and co-develop the programs from discovery phase to IND enabling. Costs will be shared.
2) Become a licensed candidate of our programs.
Looking forward to cooperating with you in the near future.
Official Name CXCL13
Full Name chemokine (C-X-C motif) ligand 13
Background B lymphocyte chemoattractant, independently cloned and named Angie, is an antimicrobial peptide and CXC chemokine strongly expressed in the follicles of the spleen, lymph nodes, and Peyers patches. It preferentially promotes the migration of B lymphocytes (compared to T cells and macrophages), apparently by stimulating calcium influx into, and chemotaxis of, cells expressing Burkitts lymphoma receptor 1 (BLR-1). It may therefore function in the homing of B lymphocytes to follicles.
Alternative Names CXCL13; chemokine (C-X-C motif) ligand 13; BLC; BCA1; ANGIE; BCA-1; BLR1L; ANGIE2; SCYB13; C-X-C motif chemokine 13; CXC chemokine BLC; B-cell chemoattractant; B-lymphocyte chemoattractant; b lymphocyte chemoattractant; small-inducible cytokine B13; B-cell-attracting chemokine 1; b cell-attracting chemokine 1; chemokine (C-X-C motif) ligand 13 (B-cell chemoattractant); B-cell-homing chemokine (ligand for Burkitts lymphoma receptor-1); small inducible cytokine B subfamily (Cys-X-Cys motif), member 13 (B-cell chemoattractant)
Gene ID 10563
UniProt ID Q8WTT0
Cellular Localization Extracellular region or secreted
Involvement in Disease Diseases associated with CXCL13 include Angioimmunoblastic T-Cell Lymphoma and Asymptomatic Neurosyphilis.
Related Pathways Its related pathways are Signaling by GPCR and PEDF Induced Signaling.
Function Chemotactic for B-lymphocytes but not for T-lymphocytes, monocytes and neutrophils. Does not induce calcium release in B-lymphocytes. Binds to BLR1/CXCR5.
Post-translational modifications 1.Modification sites at neXtProt 2.Modification sites at PhosphoSitePlus
