Cooperation Seeking Creative Biolabs is interested in collaborating with potential partners (include but not limit to major pharma or biotech firms) to further co-develop ADCC-enhanced BAFFR antibody. For commercial partners interested in our ADCC-enhanced therapeutic antibodies, Creative Biolabs welcomes collaboration. Here are two ways for your choice, and please contact us for more details.
1) Collaborate with us and co-develop the programs from discovery phase to IND enabling. Costs will be shared.
2) Become a licensed candidate of our programs.
Looking forward to cooperating with you in the near future.

Official Name TNFRSF13C

Full Name BAFF receptor (B-cell activating factor receptor, BAFF-R)

Background BAFF receptor (B-cell activating factor receptor, BAFF-R), also known as tumor necrosis factor receptor superfamily member 13C (TNFRSF13C) and BLyS receptor 3 (BR3), is a membrane protein of the TNF receptor superfamily which recognizes BAFF, an essential factor for B cell maturation and survival. In humans it is encoded by the TNFRSF13C gene.

Alternative Names TNFRSF13C, BAFF-R, BAFFR, BROMIX, CD268, CVID4, prolixin, tumor necrosis factor receptor superfamily member 13C, TNF receptor superfamily member 13C

Gene ID Human: 115650; Mouse: 72049

UniProt ID Human: Q96RJ3; Mouse: Q9D8D0

Cellular Localization Plasma Membrane

Genecards TNFRSF13C

Involvement in Disease Diseases associated with TNFRSF13C include Immunodeficiency, Common Variable, 4 and Common Variable Immunodeficiency. Among its related pathways are NF-KappaB Family Pathway and TNF Superfamily - Human Ligand-Receptor Interactions and their Associated Functions.

Function B cell activating factor (BAFF) can improve the survival rate of B cells in vitro and is a regulator of the peripheral B cell population. The protein encoded by this gene is the receptor of BAFF and is a type III transmembrane protein containing a single cellular phenylalanine-rich domain. It is believed that this receptor is the main receptor required for BAFF-mediated survival of mature B cells. [7] During B cell maturation, only a limited number of B cells can survive due to the regulation of BAFF-R. [8]

Antibody Clone BioBet-1701ZP

Description This clone was generated using a stable CHO cell line with the FUT8 knockout gene. It was 100% non-fucosylated. In an in vitro cell-based ADCC assay, the afucosylated antibody clone showed significantly higher ADCC activity compared to its wild type version. The binding affinity of the non-fucosylated Fc variant antibody to Fc receptor is much higher than than the same antibody with fucosylated Fc. Robust and stable production of qualitative fully non-fucosylated therapeutic antibodies is achieved.
