Cooperation Seeking

Creative Biolabs is interested in collaborating with potential partners (include but not limit to major pharma or biotech firms) to further co-develop ADCC-enhanced Prostate Stem Cell Antigen antibody. For commercial partners interested in our ADCC-enhanced therapeutic antibodies, Creative Biolabs welcomes collaboration. Here are two ways for your choice, and please contact us for more details.
1) Collaborate with us and co-develop the programs from discovery phase to IND enabling. Costs will be shared.
2) Become a licensed candidate of our programs.
Looking forward to cooperating with you in the near future.
Official Name
PSCA
Full Name
prostate stem cell antigen
Background
This gene encodes a glycosylphosphatidylinositol-anchored cell membrane glycoprotein. In addition to being highly expressed in the prostate it is also expressed in the bladder, placenta, colon, kidney, and stomach. This gene is up-regulated in a large proportion of prostate cancers and is also detected in cancers of the bladder and pancreas. This gene includes a polymorphism that results in an upstream start codon in some individuals; this polymorphism is thought to be associated with a risk for certain gastric and bladder cancers. Alternative splicing results in multiple transcript variants. [provided by RefSeq, Feb 2010]
Alternative Names
PSCA; prostate stem cell antigen; PRO232;
Gene ID
Cellular Localization
Plasma membrane
Involvement in Disease
Diseases associated with PSCA include Gallbladder Adenocarcinoma and Transitional Cell Carcinoma.
Related Pathways
Its related pathways are Metabolism of proteins and Post-translational modification- synthesis of GPI-anchored proteins.
Function
It may be related to the regulation of cell proliferation. It has cell proliferation inhibitory activity in vitro. It can be used as a regulator of the activity of nicotinic acetylcholine receptors (nAChRs). Inhibition of nicotine-induced signals in vitro may imply nachr containing -3:-2- or -7.
Post-translational modifications
1.N-glycosylated 2.Modification sites at PhosphoSitePlus 3.Glycosylation at Asn31

Description
AGS-1C4D4 is a human monoclonal antibody against prostate stem cell antigen (PSCA), which is a cell-surface protein expressed by most prostate cancers. Preclinical studies demonstrated the pruduct has tumor inhibition function. A limited Phase I trial using AGS-1C4D4 was performed evaluating safety and PK.
