Cooperation Seeking

Creative Biolabs is interested in collaborating with potential partners (include but not limit to major pharma or biotech firms) to further co-develop ADCC-enhanced Granulocyte Macrophage Colony Stimulating Factor antibody. For commercial partners interested in our ADCC-enhanced therapeutic antibodies, Creative Biolabs welcomes collaboration. Here are two ways for your choice, and please contact us for more details.
1) Collaborate with us and co-develop the programs from discovery phase to IND enabling. Costs will be shared.
2) Become a licensed candidate of our programs.
Looking forward to cooperating with you in the near future.
Official Name
CSF2
Full Name
colony stimulating factor 2 (granulocyte-macrophage)
Background
The protein encoded by this gene is a cytokine that controls the production, differentiation, and function of granulocytes and macrophages. The active form of the protein is found extracellularly as a homodimer. This gene has been localized to a cluster of related genes at chromosome region 5q31, which is known to be associated with interstitial deletions in the 5q- syndrome and acute myelogenous leukemia. Other genes in the cluster include those encoding interleukins 4, 5, and 13.
Alternative Names
CSF2; colony stimulating factor 2 (granulocyte-macrophage); GMCSF; granulocyte-macrophage colony-stimulating factor; CSF; molgramostin; sargramostim; granulocyte macrophage-colony stimulating factor
Gene ID
UniProt ID
Cellular Localization
Extracellular region or secreted
Involvement in Disease
Diseases associated with CSF2 include Pulmonary Alveolar Proteinosis and Mucositis.
Related Pathways
Its related pathways are Transcriptional misregulation in cancer and RET signaling.
Function
Cytokine that stimulates the growth and differentiation of hematopoietic precursor cells from various lineages, including granulocytes, macrophages, eosinophils and erythrocytes.
Post-translational modifications
1.Glycosylation at Ser22, Ser24, Ser26, Thr27, Asn44, and Asn54 2.Modification sites at PhosphoSitePlus

Antibody Clone
MORAb-022
Host
Human
Species Reactivity
Human
Description
MORAb-022 is a fully human IgG1 monoclonal antibody being investigated for its potential in the treatment of multiple inflammatory diseases. The drug specifically targets granulocyte-macrophage colony stimulating factor (GM-CSF), a molecule shown in preclinical studies to be involved in autoimmune diseases including rheumatoid arthritis, multiple sclerosis and asthma.
