Description
The glycogen assay kit is a simple and accurate assay for measuring the glycogen content in biological samples. In the glycogen assay protocol, glucoamylase hydrolyzes glycogen into glucose, and then specifically oxidizes it to produce a product that reacts with the OxiRed probe to produce color (570 nm) and Fluorometric (Ex 535 / Em 587). This assay can detect glycogen at 0.0004 to 2mg/ml.
