Description
The 6-phosphofructokinase activity assay kit is simple, reliable, and rapid, and can detect less than 1 mU of phosphofructokinase activity.
In the PFK activity assay protocol, PFK (phosphofructose kinase) converts fructose 6 phosphate and ATP into fructose diphosphate and ADP. In the presence of a substrate and enzyme mixture, ADP is converted to AMP and NADH, which reduces the colorless probe to a colored product with strong absorption at 450 nm.
